AI Visibility Reports for Webflow

HaloSEO connects to your Webflow site, publishes posts in your own theme, and reports on how you show up on Google and in AI search. Here is how the connection works and what to expect.

How HaloSEO connects to Webflow

You connect your Webflow site from the HaloSEO dashboard. The connection uses the Webflow API and needs a site level API token that you create in your Webflow account settings. The token needs permission to read your site structure and to create and publish CMS items. HaloSEO does not need access to your billing, your members, or your site settings. You can revoke the token in Webflow at any time, and the connection stops.

What a published post looks like on your site

HaloSEO writes into a Webflow CMS collection. The post uses your collection fields and your existing template, so it renders in your site's own theme. Headings, body text, images and links follow the styles you already set. There is no separate HaloSEO widget and no injected script on the page. If you edit the post in Webflow after it publishes, your edits stay.

What happens on Webflow that does not happen elsewhere

Webflow gives HaloSEO a structured CMS to write into, so each post maps to real fields rather than raw HTML. That means your template controls the layout and HaloSEO only supplies content. Webflow also publishes through its own hosting, so a post goes live the same way any other CMS item does. Internal links are added to the collection items HaloSEO can see, and the sitemap updates through Webflow's own sitemap setting.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

The most common failure is an expired or revoked API token. When that happens, publishing stops and HaloSEO flags the connection in your dashboard. It does not retry silently and it does not publish partial posts. If a collection field is renamed or removed, the post for that field fails and is held for review. If Webflow is down, the publish is queued and retried. You get a notice in the dashboard either way, and nothing goes live without a successful publish.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if your Webflow site has no CMS plan. HaloSEO publishes into CMS collections, and without them there is nowhere for a post to go. It is also not right for you if you want to approve every sentence before it goes live, or if you need a fixed publishing schedule guaranteed in advance. HaloSEO publishes on its own once connected, and we do not promise rankings or timeframes we have not measured.
