Wix
Backlink Builder for Wix
HaloSEO connects to your Wix site, writes and publishes posts in your theme, and builds backlinks to them. Here is how the Wix side works, and what to expect when something breaks.
How HaloSEO connects to Wix
You connect your Wix site from the HaloSEO dashboard. Wix asks you to approve the connection, and you sign in to your own Wix account to do it. HaloSEO needs permission to read your site, create and edit blog posts, and publish them. It does not need your Wix password, and you can revoke access from your Wix account at any time. Once approved, HaloSEO reads your site structure and your blog settings so it knows where posts should go.
What a published post looks like on your Wix site
Posts are published through the Wix blog, so they use your site's own theme. Headings, body text, links and images follow the styles you already set. There is no separate HaloSEO template and no widget to place. A reader sees a normal post on your blog, in your fonts and colours, with your header and footer around it. You can edit any post in the Wix editor after it goes live, and your edits stay.
What happens on Wix that does not happen elsewhere
Wix handles the blog, the routing and the page rendering, so HaloSEO works within those rules rather than around them. Posts land in the Wix blog collection, which means Wix sitemaps, blog feeds and built in SEO settings apply to them automatically. Internal links are added between posts on your site, and backlinks are built to the published URLs. Because Wix controls the URL structure, HaloSEO reads the addresses Wix assigns instead of setting its own.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
The connection can drop if you change your Wix password, remove the app, or Wix has an outage. When that happens, publishing pauses and HaloSEO flags the site in your dashboard. Nothing is published to the wrong place and no posts are lost. Reconnect from the dashboard and the queue resumes. If a post fails to publish, for example because a blog category was deleted, the post stays in the queue with the error shown so you can fix the cause and retry.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if your site is not on Wix, or if you want to approve every word before it goes live. HaloSEO publishes on a schedule, so it suits people who want the work done without a review step on each post. It is also not for you if you need backlinks pointed at pages HaloSEO did not write, or if you want manual outreach and guest post negotiation handled for you.
