Content Calendar for WordPress
HaloSEO connects to your WordPress site and runs a content calendar from it. It researches keywords, writes posts, publishes them in your theme, links them up and builds backlinks.
How HaloSEO connects to WordPress
You add the site in HaloSEO and connect it to WordPress. HaloSEO needs permission to create and edit posts, upload media, and set categories and tags. It does not need your WordPress admin password. The connection uses a dedicated account or application password, so you can revoke it at any time from your WordPress dashboard. Once connected, HaloSEO reads your existing posts and categories so the calendar fits what you already publish.
What a published post looks like
Posts publish through WordPress itself, so they use your active theme. Headings, images, lists and links render with your theme's styles. There is no separate HaloSEO template and no embedded widget. The post appears in your archive, your category pages and your feed like any other post. You can edit it in the WordPress editor afterwards, and your edits stay.
What happens on WordPress that does not happen elsewhere
WordPress gives HaloSEO a real publishing target. Posts get real URLs on your domain, real permalinks and real internal links to your existing pages. HaloSEO can schedule posts into the future and they go live on your schedule. Categories and tags you already use are reused, so the new content joins your existing structure instead of sitting apart from it. Backlinks point at pages on your own domain.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
The connection can fail. Common causes are a changed password, a revoked application password, a security plugin blocking the request, or a host that blocks outgoing or incoming API calls. When a publish fails, HaloSEO marks the item as failed and keeps it in the calendar. It does not silently drop the post. You reconnect the site and the item can be retried. If your theme changes, published posts follow the new theme because they are normal WordPress posts.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if your site is not on WordPress and you do not plan to move it. It is not right for you if you want to approve every word by hand before it goes live, because HaloSEO is built to publish on a schedule. It is also not right for you if you want a tool that only suggests ideas and leaves the writing and publishing to you.
