Custom API

Multi-location SEO for Custom API

If you run more than one location on a Custom API site, HaloSEO can run the same publishing for each one, with its own keywords and its own local phrasing. This page explains how the connection works and what to expect.

How HaloSEO connects to Custom API

You connect your Custom API site to HaloSEO and give it permission to publish posts. That permission is what lets HaloSEO write and publish on your behalf. It does not need access to your code, your database or your server. Once the connection is in place, HaloSEO researches keywords, writes the posts, publishes them, links them up and builds backlinks for each location you set up.

What a published post looks like on your site

Posts are published on your Custom API site in your own theme. They look like the rest of your content, not like an outside widget or a separate blog. Each location gets its own posts, written around its own keywords and its own local phrasing, so the pages read as if they belong to that place rather than being copied from one template.

What happens on Custom API that does not happen elsewhere

Custom API gives HaloSEO a direct publishing path into your site. That means the same publishing run can cover every location you have set up, each with its own keywords and local phrasing, without you moving content by hand. The work happens inside your site's own structure and theme, so you keep one site and one set of pages rather than a patchwork of tools.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

If the connection to Custom API stops working, publishing stops. HaloSEO cannot publish posts to a site it cannot reach, and it will not pretend a post went live when it did not. The fix is usually to reconnect the site and confirm the publish permission is still in place. Nothing is published twice to cover a gap, and no page is created from another town's article.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want one article spun into a page for every town. HaloSEO does not create duplicate pages per town from one article. It is also not right for you if you expect a guaranteed ranking, position, traffic number or date. We do not control search engines, so we do not promise any of those. And if you are not able to give a publishing connection to your Custom API site, the platform cannot publish for you.
