Custom API
Webflow Integration for Custom API
HaloSEO connects to your Webflow site once and publishes finished posts to it. The post lands as a normal post, in your theme, on your domain.
How the connection works
You connect your Webflow site to HaloSEO once. The connection uses the Webflow API, and HaloSEO needs permission to create and publish posts on the site you choose. Nothing else on the site is touched. You do not install a plugin, and there is no file to keep updated. If you want to review posts before they go live, you can hold them as drafts and publish them yourself.
What the published post looks like
The post is a normal Webflow post. It uses your site's own theme, your fonts, your layout and your components. It sits on your own domain, at a URL on your site. Readers see a page that looks like the rest of your site, because it is built from the same theme. HaloSEO does not host the blog and does not serve the page from anywhere else.
What happens on Webflow that does not happen elsewhere
Webflow gives HaloSEO a clean way to publish into a site that already has a design system. The post inherits that design without extra work from you. There is no separate blog host to manage and no plugin layer between HaloSEO and the page. The post is created through the Webflow API and published as a Webflow post, so your existing site settings, redirects and theme rules apply to it as they do to any other post.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
If the connection token is revoked or expires, publishing stops. HaloSEO cannot create new posts until you reconnect the site. If a field in your Webflow collection is renamed or removed, a post may fail to publish or may publish with a missing field. When a publish fails, HaloSEO reports the failure and keeps the post so you can retry after the fix. Nothing is deleted from your site. If Webflow changes its API, publishing may pause until we update the integration.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if your site is not on Webflow, or if you want HaloSEO to host the blog for you. It is also not right for you if you need a plugin based setup, or if you want a tool to change other parts of your Webflow site. HaloSEO only publishes posts. It does not edit your pages, your design or your settings.
