Framer

Shopify Integration for Framer

HaloSEO connects to your Framer site, writes and publishes posts into your own theme, and keeps the links and backlinks in order. Here is how the connection works and what to expect.

How HaloSEO connects to Framer

You connect HaloSEO to Framer with an API key from your Framer account. You paste the key into HaloSEO once. HaloSEO then needs permission to read your site structure and to create and publish pages. It does not need access to your billing, your team settings or your other projects. You can revoke the key in Framer at any time, and HaloSEO stops publishing the moment you do.

What a published post looks like on your Framer site

HaloSEO publishes each post as a normal page on your Framer site. The post uses your site's own theme, fonts, colours and header and footer. It sits at a URL on your domain, not on a subdomain and not on a separate blog host. Your navigation and internal links point to it like any other page you built by hand. Nothing on the page is styled by HaloSEO.

What happens on Framer that does not happen elsewhere

Framer gives HaloSEO a live page tree, so new posts can be placed under the right parent page and added to your existing collections. Framer's CMS lets HaloSEO write post fields directly, which means your listing pages and category pages update on their own. Because Framer serves the page from your domain, the post inherits your site's speed and your existing redirects. On other platforms HaloSEO often has to work around a separate blog subdomain or a plugin. On Framer it does not.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

The most common failure is an expired or revoked API key. When that happens, HaloSEO stops publishing and flags the connection in your dashboard. It does not retry in a loop and it does not publish to a fallback location. If a Framer CMS field is renamed or removed, the post may publish without that field, and HaloSEO reports the missing field so you can fix the mapping. If Framer is down, the post stays queued and publishes when the site is back. No post is lost and no half written page goes live.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if your Framer site is a single landing page with no page structure to publish into. It is not right for you if you want to approve every word by hand before it goes live, because HaloSEO is built to publish on its own. It is also not right for you if you need posts on a separate blog platform, since HaloSEO publishes to your Framer site itself.
