SEO Images for Google Analytics

HaloSEO writes the alt text, sizes and compresses the file, and names the image after the post. Here is how that works on a Google Analytics site, and what to expect.

How HaloSEO connects to Google Analytics

You connect your site once. HaloSEO needs permission to publish posts and to upload image files to your site. That is the permission it asks for. It does not ask for access to your Google Analytics reports, your property settings or your user data. The connection is for publishing, not for reading your analytics.

What the published post looks like on your site

The post goes out in your own theme. Headings, fonts, colours and layout come from your site, not from HaloSEO. Images are placed inside the post and sized to fit the theme. The file is compressed before upload, so pages do not carry heavy images. The file name comes from the post, and the alt text describes what is actually in the picture.

What happens on Google Analytics that does not happen elsewhere

Google Analytics sites often carry tracking scripts and tag managers in the page template. HaloSEO publishes into that template as it is. It does not strip scripts, rewrite the head or change your tags. Images are uploaded as normal files, so your existing tracking keeps working on the new post. Nothing about the image handling depends on the analytics setup.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

If the connection drops, publishing stops and HaloSEO reports the failure. If an image upload fails, the post is held rather than published with a broken image. If your theme changes and the image size no longer fits, the image still loads but may look wrong, and you can fix it in your theme. HaloSEO does not guess its way around a failed upload.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want alt text stuffed with your keyword. HaloSEO writes alt text from what is in the picture and does not repeat the keyword as alt text. It is also not right for you if you expect a ranking, a position or a traffic number by a set date. We do not control search engines and we do not promise those.
