SEO Images for Shopify
Images on a Shopify store carry weight in search and in AI answers. HaloSEO handles the image side of a post as part of publishing, not as a separate job.
How HaloSEO connects to Shopify
You install the HaloSEO app from the Shopify App Store and approve the access it asks for. That access lets HaloSEO read your products, collections and theme, and create and edit blog posts and the files attached to them. It does not let HaloSEO change your orders, your customers or your payments. You can remove the app at any time from your Shopify admin, and the access goes with it.
What a published post looks like on your store
HaloSEO publishes into your Shopify blog, so the post uses your theme. Headers, body text, links and images all take on the styles you already set. Images are uploaded to your Shopify files and served from your store, with alt text written for the post and file names that describe the picture. Nothing is rendered on a separate host and nothing is pasted in as a block of foreign markup.
What happens on Shopify that does not happen elsewhere
Shopify stores images through its own file system and its own image service, which resizes and serves them from a CDN. HaloSEO works with that system rather than around it. Uploads go through the Shopify API, so the files sit where your theme expects them and the image URLs stay stable. Product images and blog images live in the same place, which keeps the store tidy and keeps old links working.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
The common failures are a revoked app permission, a theme change that removes a section the post relies on, or an image upload that is rejected for size or format. When a publish or upload fails, HaloSEO records the error and retries. If it keeps failing, the post stays unpublished and you get a notice rather than a half finished page going live. Nothing is deleted from your store without a record of it.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want to hand place every image yourself, or if your store runs on a custom storefront that does not use Shopify blogs. It is also not right for you if you need images edited, retouched or generated to a brief. HaloSEO publishes and optimises images for search. It does not art direct them.
