Google Search Console
Multi-location SEO for Google Search Console
If you run more than one location, each one needs its own keywords and its own local phrasing. HaloSEO runs the same publishing for each location, and Google Search Console is where you watch it land.
How HaloSEO connects to Google Search Console
You connect Google Search Console from your HaloSEO account. The connection uses Google's own sign in and consent screen, so you approve it yourself and you can revoke it at any time from your Google account. HaloSEO asks for read access to the Search Console properties you choose. It needs that access to see which pages Google has indexed, which queries they show up for, and how each location's pages are performing. We do not ask for write access to your Search Console account, and we do not change anything inside it.
What the published post looks like on your site
Each location gets its own post, published on your own site in your own theme. It carries your header, your footer, your fonts and your colours, because it is a page on your site and not a page on ours. The content is written for that location, with its own keywords and its own local phrasing. It is not one article copied across towns with the name swapped. HaloSEO does not create duplicate pages per town from one article, so each location page stands on its own.
What happens in Google Search Console that does not happen elsewhere
Search Console is the only place that shows you what Google actually did with each location's pages. You see which pages Google indexed, which queries each one appeared for, and where those queries sit. That is measured data from Google, not a forecast from us. It is also where you catch problems early, such as a location page that Google chose not to index or a query that is pulling in the wrong town. Other tools estimate. Search Console reports.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
The connection can drop. If you revoke access in your Google account, or if the Google account that granted access loses its permission on the property, HaloSEO stops seeing Search Console data for that property. Publishing on your site is not affected, because it does not depend on the connection. You will see the gap in your reporting rather than a silent failure, and you reconnect from your HaloSEO account. If a location page is not indexed, Search Console shows it and you can act on it. We do not promise that every page gets indexed, because that decision belongs to Google.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you run a single location. The multi-location setup exists to give each site its own keywords and its own local phrasing, and with one location there is nothing to separate. It is also not right for you if you want one article duplicated across many town pages. HaloSEO does not do that. And it is not right for you if you need a guaranteed position or a fixed date, because we do not control search engines and we will not promise either.
