Multi-location SEO for Make

If you run more than one location on Make, HaloSEO can run the same publishing for each one, with its own keywords and its own local phrasing. This page explains how that works, what it needs from you, and what it does not do.

How HaloSEO connects to Make

You connect your Make site to HaloSEO. HaloSEO then researches the keywords, writes the posts, publishes them to your site, links them up and builds the backlinks. For a multi-location setup you give HaloSEO access to each location you want it to publish for. The permission it needs is the ability to publish posts to your Make site. It does not need your payment details, and it does not change your theme, your plugins or your other content. If you are not sure what access your Make setup allows, check with whoever manages the site before you connect.

What a published post looks like on a Make site

Posts are published in your site's own theme. They use your fonts, your colours, your header and your footer, and they sit in your normal post list. A reader should not be able to tell which posts HaloSEO wrote from how the page looks. Each location gets its own posts with its own keywords and its own local phrasing, so the wording reads like it was written for that place rather than copied across.

What happens on Make that does not happen elsewhere

Make gives you one site to hold several locations. HaloSEO runs the same publishing for each location, with its own keywords and its own local phrasing. That means the research, the writing, the publishing, the internal links and the backlinks all run per location rather than once for the whole site. You do not have to set up a separate site for each place to get local coverage.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

The most common problem is access. If the connection to your Make site drops, or the permission is removed, publishing stops until it is restored. Posts already live stay live. If a location's details change, such as its name or the areas it serves, tell us so the keywords and phrasing can be updated. If a post fails to publish, it is not silently dropped. You will see it has not gone out, and it can be retried once the cause is fixed.

What this does not do

HaloSEO does not create duplicate pages per town from one article. Each location gets its own posts with their own keywords and phrasing, not the same text with the town name swapped. We do not promise a ranking, a position, a traffic number or a date. We do not control search engines, so we cannot guarantee where or when anything appears.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want one article copied across many towns with the place name changed. It is not right for you if you need a guaranteed ranking or a fixed date for results. It is not right for you if you cannot give HaloSEO permission to publish to your Make site, or if nobody on your side can confirm which locations should be covered. In those cases the setup will not work as intended, and it is better to wait until it can.
