Make
WordPress Integration for Make
HaloSEO connects to your Make site once and publishes finished posts to it. The posts go out as normal WordPress posts, in your own theme, on your own domain.
How HaloSEO connects to Make
You connect your Make site to HaloSEO once. You give HaloSEO permission to publish posts to that site. That is the permission it needs. It does not ask for more than that. After the connection is made, HaloSEO sends each finished post to your site as a normal post. You do not copy and paste anything. You do not move files around.
What the published post looks like on a Make site
The post is a normal WordPress post. It uses your site's own theme, so it looks like the rest of your pages. It sits on your own domain, under your own URLs. Your header, your footer and your menus stay as they are. Readers see a post on your site, not a page hosted somewhere else. HaloSEO does not host the blog for you.
What happens on Make that does not happen elsewhere
Make sites run on WordPress, so the post lands in the same editor and the same post list you already use. You can open it, edit it or unpublish it like any other post. There is no plugin to install and no plugin to keep up to date. HaloSEO does not change anything else on the WordPress site. Your other pages, settings and users are left alone.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
If the connection to your Make site drops, publishing stops. The post is not sent until the connection works again. If your site is down or rejects the request, the post is not published. If a post arrives and you do not want it, you can edit or unpublish it in WordPress as you would any post. HaloSEO does not host your blog, so if your WordPress site goes down, your posts go down with it.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want HaloSEO to host your blog. It does not. It is not right for you if you want a plugin you control and update yourself. There is no plugin. It is not right for you if you need HaloSEO to manage other parts of your WordPress site. It only publishes posts and changes nothing else.
