Google Search Console
Google Ranking Automation for Google Search Console
HaloSEO tracks where your site ranks for the keywords it was given, and rewrites a post in place when it is still not ranking after ninety days. Here is how that works with Google Search Console, and what it does not do.
How HaloSEO connects to Google Search Console
You connect Google Search Console through Google's own sign in and consent screen. HaloSEO asks for read access to your Search Console data so it can see where the site ranks for the keywords it was given. It does not ask for write access. It does not submit anything on your behalf. You can revoke the connection from your Google account at any time, and the tracking stops.
What the published post looks like on your site
The post is published on your own site, in your own theme. It uses your templates, your header, your footer and your fonts. There is no HaloSEO badge, widget or iframe on the page. A reader cannot tell from the page that HaloSEO wrote it. The post sits at a normal URL on your domain and is linked from your own pages.
What happens on Google Search Console that does not happen elsewhere
Search Console is the only place HaloSEO reads ranking positions from. That data is what drives the ninety day check. If a post is still not ranking for its keyword after ninety days, HaloSEO rewrites that post in place. The URL stays the same. The rewrite is based on the position data it read, not on a guess. Nothing is sent to Google as part of this.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
If the Search Console connection drops, or you revoke access, HaloSEO stops seeing positions. The ninety day check cannot run without that data, so no rewrite is triggered. Publishing continues, but tracking pauses until you reconnect. If a post is deleted or its URL changes, the position data for it goes stale and HaloSEO has nothing to rewrite. You will see the gap in the connection status rather than a silent failure.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you need a guaranteed position, a promised date or a traffic number. HaloSEO does not touch Google, does not submit anything, and makes no promise about where you will rank or when. It is also not right for you if you want to approve every word by hand, or if you expect it to fix pages it did not write. It tracks and rewrites the posts it published for the keywords it was given.
