Backlink Builder for Google Search Console

HaloSEO connects to Google Search Console to read how your site is doing, then builds links between the posts it publishes for you. Here is how the connection works and what it does.

How HaloSEO connects to Google Search Console

You connect Google Search Console from your HaloSEO account. Google asks you to sign in and to grant read access to the properties you own. HaloSEO uses that permission to read your site data. It does not need write access, and it does not change anything inside your Search Console account. You can revoke the connection from your Google account at any time, and the weekly reporting stops when you do.

What the published post looks like on your site

HaloSEO publishes posts to your site, and they render in your site's own theme. The header, footer, fonts and colours are the ones your site already uses. There is no HaloSEO badge and no separate template. The post sits at a normal URL on your domain, so Google treats it as part of your site, not as a page hosted somewhere else.

What happens on a Search Console site that does not happen elsewhere

On a site connected through Search Console, HaloSEO can read the queries and pages Google already reports for you. That data shapes the keyword research behind the posts we write. The link building works the same way on every site: posts we publish link to each other on a credit system, where a site earns links by giving them. HaloSEO does not send outreach emails, does not contact anyone for you, and does not buy links from a marketplace. Your backlink profile is reported from a third party index every week.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

If the Google permission expires or you revoke it, the connection drops. Publishing and internal linking between your posts carry on, because they do not depend on Search Console. The keyword research loses its Search Console input until you reconnect. If the third party index is late, the weekly backlink report is late with it. If a post fails to publish, HaloSEO flags it in your account so you can check your site.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want outreach emails sent on your behalf. HaloSEO does not send them. It is not right for you if you want to buy links from a marketplace, because we do not do that. It is not right for you if you need a guaranteed ranking or a fixed date for one, because we do not control search engines and will not promise either. And it is not right for you if you want a writer that only drafts text for you to place by hand.
