Make

Backlink Builder for Make

HaloSEO connects to your Make site, publishes posts in your own theme, and places relevant links between the blogs it publishes. Here is how the connection works and what it does not do.

How HaloSEO connects to Make

You connect your Make site to HaloSEO once, from your HaloSEO account. The connection needs permission to publish posts to your site and to read the posts it has already published, so it can place links between them. It does not need access to your Make account settings, your billing, or your customer data. You can revoke the connection at any time from HaloSEO, and publishing stops when you do.

What the published post looks like on a Make site

Posts are published into your Make site and use the site's own theme. Headings, body text, images and links follow the styles your theme already sets, so a HaloSEO post looks like the rest of your blog. We do not install a separate template or a widget on your pages. If your theme changes, published posts pick up the new styles the same way your other posts do.

What happens on Make that does not happen elsewhere

The link placement runs on a credit system. A site earns links by giving them, so when HaloSEO places a link from one of your posts to another site in the network, your site earns credit it can spend on links back. HaloSEO also reports your backlink profile from a third party index every week, so you can see what links exist without asking us for a number. This is link placement between blogs we publish. It is not outreach and it is not a link marketplace.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

If the connection to Make drops, publishing pauses and HaloSEO tells you in your account. Posts already live stay live. If a post fails to publish, it is retried, and if it keeps failing you get a notice with the reason from Make. If your theme changes and a post renders badly, the fix is in your theme, not in a HaloSEO template. Weekly backlink reports can be late when the third party index is late. We do not fill the gap with estimates.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want outreach emails sent on your behalf, or if you want to buy links from a marketplace. HaloSEO does neither. It is also not right for you if you need a guaranteed ranking, a set position, a traffic number or a date. We do not control search engines and we will not promise any of those. If you want a tool that only writes text and leaves publishing and links to you, this is more than you need.
