Make
Automatic Indexing for Make
HaloSEO keeps a sitemap on your Make site up to date as posts go live. Search engines can find new posts without you submitting anything by hand.
How HaloSEO connects to Make
You connect your Make site to HaloSEO once. HaloSEO needs permission to write posts to your site and to write the sitemap file and robots.txt on your own domain. That is the whole permission set. It does not need access to your Make account settings, your billing, or your customer data. If you remove the connection, publishing stops and the sitemap stays as it was at that moment.
What a published post looks like on Make
Posts are published into your Make site and use your site's own theme. Headings, body text, images and links take on the styles you already set up. There is no separate HaloSEO template and no badge. A reader cannot tell from the page how it was written. You can edit any post in Make after it goes live, and your edits stay.
What happens on Make that does not happen elsewhere
Make sites often have no sitemap, or one that stops updating. HaloSEO writes the sitemap to your own domain and updates it each time a post goes live. It also writes robots.txt so it points at that sitemap. Because both files sit on your domain, a crawler that visits your site finds the new post through the normal route. Nothing is submitted on your behalf.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
If the connection to Make drops, publishing pauses. Posts already live stay live and the sitemap keeps its last good version. If a post fails to publish, it is not added to the sitemap, so the sitemap never lists a page that does not exist. If robots.txt is edited by hand and stops pointing at the sitemap, new posts are still published but are harder to find. Fix the pointer and the route works again.
What this does not do
HaloSEO does not ping Google. It does not use IndexNow. It does not submit URLs to Search Console. It updates your sitemap and robots.txt and leaves discovery to the search engines. We cannot promise a ranking, a position, a traffic number or a date, because we do not control search engines.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want URLs pushed to Google the moment a post goes live, or if you need Search Console submissions handled for you. HaloSEO does not do either. It is also not right for you if your Make site cannot accept a sitemap file and a robots.txt file on its own domain, because that is the mechanism the whole feature relies on.
