Automatic Indexing for Shopify

HaloSEO connects to your Shopify store, writes posts, and publishes them into your own theme. This page explains the connection, the permissions, and what happens when something breaks.

How HaloSEO connects to Shopify

You install the HaloSEO app from the Shopify App Store and approve the access request. HaloSEO asks for permission to read your products, collections and theme, and to create and publish blog articles. It does not ask for orders, customers or payment data. You can revoke access from your Shopify admin at any time, and the connection stops.

What the published post looks like

Posts are published as Shopify blog articles, not as a separate site. They use your theme, so the header, footer, fonts and colours match the rest of your store. HaloSEO writes the article body, the title, the meta description and the URL handle. Images are uploaded to your Shopify files. You can edit any post in the Shopify admin after it goes live.

What happens on Shopify that does not happen elsewhere

Shopify has its own blog system, its own URL structure and its own sitemap. HaloSEO publishes through the Shopify API, so each post gets a real Shopify article URL and is added to your Shopify sitemap. Internal links can point at your products and collections, which most blog platforms cannot do without extra work. The post is part of your store, not a subdomain or a separate CMS.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

If your theme changes, published posts keep their content but may need a layout check. If you uninstall the app, the connection stops and scheduled posts do not publish. If Shopify rejects a publish request, HaloSEO marks the post as failed and shows the error in your dashboard. It does not retry silently. If your plan reaches its post limit, publishing pauses until the next cycle.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want to approve every word before it goes live, if you run a store with no blog and no plan to use one, or if you need posts on a domain outside Shopify. It is also not right for you if you expect a set ranking or a set timeframe. We do not promise either.
