AI Visibility Reports for Shopify

HaloSEO connects to your Shopify store, publishes posts in your own theme, and reports on how you show up on Google and in AI search. Here is how the connection works and what to expect.

How HaloSEO connects to Shopify

You install the HaloSEO app from the Shopify App Store and approve the access request. HaloSEO asks for permission to read your products, collections and pages, and to create and publish blog articles. It does not need access to orders, customers or payment details, and it does not ask for them. The connection uses Shopify's own app permissions, so you can see and revoke the access at any time from your Shopify admin.

What a published post looks like on your store

HaloSEO publishes through the Shopify blog system, so each post uses your theme's article template. Headings, images, links and formatting follow the styles your theme already sets. There is no separate HaloSEO page, no widget and no badge. A reader sees a normal post on your blog, and you can edit or unpublish it from Shopify like any other article.

What happens on Shopify that does not happen elsewhere

Shopify stores have product and collection pages that change often. HaloSEO reads those pages so posts can link to the products you actually sell, and it can point new posts at collections you want to fill. When a product or collection URL changes, the internal links in your posts can go stale, so HaloSEO checks them and flags the ones that need updating. This product aware linking is specific to how Shopify stores are built.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

If you uninstall the app or revoke its permissions, publishing stops. Posts already on your store stay where they are, because they are normal Shopify articles. If a theme change removes the article template, new posts may not display as expected until the theme is fixed. If a scheduled post fails, HaloSEO records the error and retries, and you can see the status in your dashboard. Nothing is deleted from your store without you doing it.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want to approve every word before it goes live, if your store sells nothing and has no product pages to link to, or if you need posts in a language HaloSEO does not support yet. It is also not right for you if you expect a fixed ranking or a set timeframe. We report what we measure, and we do not promise positions we have not seen.
