Automatic Blog Publishing for Wix
HaloSEO connects to your Wix site, writes the posts, and publishes them into your own blog. Here is how the connection works and what to expect.
How HaloSEO connects to Wix
You install HaloSEO from the Wix App Market and approve the access it asks for. That access lets HaloSEO read your site details and create and update blog posts on your behalf. It does not let HaloSEO change your theme, your store, your bookings or your payments. You can remove the app from your Wix dashboard at any time, and the access ends with it.
What a published post looks like on your Wix site
Posts are created as normal Wix Blog posts. They use your blog's own layout, fonts, colours and header, so a reader cannot tell them apart from posts you wrote yourself. Each post gets a title, body text, headings, internal links to your other pages and a featured image. You can open any post in the Wix editor and edit it like any other.
What happens on Wix that does not happen elsewhere
Wix keeps its own blog feed, categories and post pages, and HaloSEO writes into those directly rather than through a separate copy. That means your post appears in your Wix blog feed, in your categories and in your site search without extra setup. Wix also handles the post URL and the sitemap entry, so search engines find new posts through the same route as the rest of your site.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
The connection can fail if you change your Wix password, remove the app, or if Wix is down. When a publish fails, HaloSEO retries and flags the post in your dashboard so you can see it did not go live. Nothing is published twice. If the access is revoked, publishing stops until you reconnect, and posts already on your site stay where they are.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want to approve every word before it goes live, if your blog is a personal journal rather than a way to get found, or if you run a site where a wrong post would cause real harm, such as medical or legal advice. It is also not for you if you are not prepared to check the dashboard now and then.
