Property Management work in Chicago
Chicago has a large rental stock, from two flats in Logan Square to high rises along the lake, and a steady flow of landlords and out of state investors looking for someone to run it. The searches follow that stock: people look for management of single units, small multifamily buildings and larger portfolios, and they search by neighbourhood because Chicago renters and owners think in neighbourhoods. Paid search in the city is competitive enough that the sponsored results sit above the organic ones for the main terms, which tells you the demand is worth money to the firms bidding on it. The market is a mix of national brands, local firms with a few hundred doors and owner operators who manage their own buildings and take on a few more. The demand is there across all of them, and it is spread across the whole city rather than concentrated in one district.
