SEO Images for Cloudflare

HaloSEO writes the alt text, sizes and compresses the file, and names it after the post. Here is how that works on a Cloudflare site, and what to expect.

How HaloSEO connects to Cloudflare

You connect your Cloudflare site to HaloSEO and give it permission to publish posts and upload media to that site. HaloSEO uses that permission to write the post, add the images and publish. It does not need access to your Cloudflare account settings, your DNS records or your billing. If you would rather review posts before they go live, you can hold them for approval instead of publishing straight away.

What the published post looks like

The post goes out in your site's own theme. Headings, fonts, colours and layout come from the theme you already use, not from HaloSEO. Images are sized and compressed before upload, so they load at the size the page needs. Each file is named after the post it belongs to, and each image gets alt text written from what is actually in the picture. The keyword is not repeated as alt text.

What happens on Cloudflare that does not happen elsewhere

Cloudflare serves your site through its own network, so the images HaloSEO uploads are delivered the same way as the rest of your media. Compression and sizing happen before upload, which keeps files small at the point they reach Cloudflare. Beyond that, the publishing flow is the same as on any other site HaloSEO supports. We do not claim any special Cloudflare integration, certification or partnership.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

If the connection to your site drops, publishing stops and HaloSEO reports the failure rather than posting a partial page. If an image upload fails, the post is held until the image is in place, so you do not get a post with a missing picture. If your theme changes and a layout no longer matches, the post still publishes in the theme as it now stands. You can disconnect at any time and keep everything already published.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want to hand write every alt tag yourself, or if you need a person to approve each image before it goes live. It is also not right for you if you expect a guaranteed ranking, a set position or a fixed date for results. We do not control search engines and we do not promise any of those.
