How HaloSEO connects to Framer

You connect your Framer site once, from your HaloSEO account. HaloSEO needs permission to read your site structure and to create and update pages through the Framer API. It does not need your Framer password. You can revoke access at any time from your Framer account settings, and revoking it stops all publishing.

What the published post looks like

Posts publish as normal Framer pages. They use your site's own fonts, colours, spacing and components, so a reader cannot tell a HaloSEO post from one you wrote by hand. Each post gets a title, body copy, headings, internal links and meta tags. You can edit any post in Framer after it goes live, and your edits stay.

What happens on Framer that does not happen elsewhere

Framer stores pages as structured content, so HaloSEO writes into that structure rather than pasting raw HTML. That means your components, breakpoints and CMS collections keep working. Posts also inherit your site's routing and sitemap, so new pages are discoverable without a separate step. On other platforms HaloSEO often has to work around a theme. On Framer it works with the site you built.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

Publishing can fail if your Framer plan does not allow the page type HaloSEO needs, if your API token is revoked, or if a component you use has been renamed. When a publish fails, HaloSEO stops and reports the error in your dashboard. It does not retry blindly and it does not publish a partial page. You fix the cause, then resume. Posts already live are not affected.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want to write every post yourself and only need help with ideas. It is not right if your Framer site is a one page portfolio with no blog section, or if you cannot grant API access to a third party tool. It is also not right if you need a guaranteed ranking or a fixed timeframe, because we do not promise either.
