Image Generation for Framer

HaloSEO draws a picture for each post from the article's own subject, in the style you chose, and hosts it on your own storage. This page covers how that works on a Framer site.

How HaloSEO connects to Framer

You connect your Framer site to HaloSEO once, from your HaloSEO account. The connection lets HaloSEO publish posts to your site and upload the image files that go with them. HaloSEO needs permission to create and update content on the site and to write to the storage you point it at. It does not need access to your Framer billing, your team settings or any other part of the account. You can revoke the connection at any time from either side, and publishing stops as soon as you do.

What the published post looks like on a Framer site

The post is published as a page on your Framer site and uses the theme the site already has. Headings, body text, links and the image follow your existing styles rather than a HaloSEO template. The image sits where your post layout puts the main image. Because the picture is drawn from the article's own subject, it matches what the post is about. The image file is hosted on your own storage, so it is served from a place you control.

What happens on Framer that does not happen elsewhere

Framer sites are built and styled in Framer, so the post has to fit a design that already exists. HaloSEO publishes into that design instead of bringing its own. The image is uploaded to your storage and referenced from the Framer page, which means the file stays yours and keeps working if you later leave HaloSEO. Nothing about the image depends on a HaloSEO hosted URL.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

If the Framer connection drops, publishing stops and HaloSEO reports the failure in your account. Nothing is published half finished. If your storage rejects an upload, the post is held rather than published without its image. If a theme change on your site removes the slot the image uses, the post still publishes and the image may not show until the layout is fixed. HaloSEO does not put text in the picture, so a post that needs a caption or a label in the image will not get one.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want a stock image library to pick from. HaloSEO draws one picture per post from the article's subject and does not offer a catalogue to browse. It is also not right if you need words inside the image, such as a title card or a price. And it is not right if you want images hosted by HaloSEO rather than on your own storage.
