Image Generation for HubSpot
HaloSEO draws a picture for each post from the article's own subject, in the style you chose, and hosts it on your own storage. Here is how that works on a HubSpot site.
How HaloSEO connects to HubSpot
You connect your HubSpot site to HaloSEO once, from your HaloSEO account. The connection uses HubSpot's own authorisation flow, so you sign in to HubSpot and approve the access yourself. HaloSEO asks for permission to create and publish blog posts and to upload files to your file manager. That is the scope it needs to put a post and its image on your site. It does not ask for access to your contacts, your deals or your email. You can revoke the connection from your HubSpot account at any time, and publishing stops when you do.
What the published post looks like on a HubSpot site
The post is created as a normal HubSpot blog post, so it uses your site's own theme. Your fonts, your colours, your header and your footer all apply. The image is uploaded to your HubSpot file manager and attached to the post as its featured image, and it also appears in the body where the layout calls for it. Nothing is rendered in a HaloSEO wrapper or an iframe. A visitor sees a page that looks like the rest of your blog, because it is built from the same templates.
What happens on HubSpot that does not happen elsewhere
HubSpot keeps the image in your file manager, so it sits alongside your other assets and follows your file permissions. The post goes through the same HubSpot publishing states as any other post, including draft and scheduled. If your theme pulls the featured image into listing pages, social previews or related post modules, the generated image flows into those places too, with no extra step. Your HubSpot users see the post in the blog tool like any other, and can edit it there.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
If the HubSpot connection is revoked or the token expires, publishing pauses and HaloSEO reports the failure in your account. Nothing is published half finished. If the image upload fails, the post is held rather than published without its image, and you get a notice. If your theme has no featured image slot, the image is still uploaded and placed in the body. If a style you chose cannot be applied, the post is held for you to review. HaloSEO does not put text in the picture, is not a stock library, and never sends your business name or any identifying detail to the image model.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you need pictures with words in them, such as a title card or a quoted line rendered inside the image. HaloSEO does not put text in the picture. It is also not right for you if you want a searchable library of stock photos to pick from, because it is not a stock library. And it is not right for you if you need images published to a site that is not connected to HaloSEO, since every image is hosted on your own storage through that connection.
