Wix Integration for Google Analytics

HaloSEO connects to your Wix site once and publishes finished posts to it. This page explains how that connection works and what it does not touch.

How HaloSEO connects to your Wix site

You connect your Wix site to HaloSEO once. You approve the connection from your Wix account, and that approval is the only permission HaloSEO holds. It lets HaloSEO create a post on your site. It does not give HaloSEO access to your Wix settings, your store, your members or your other pages. You can remove the connection from your Wix account at any time, and publishing stops when you do.

What the published post looks like

The post goes live as a normal post on your Wix site. It uses your site's own theme, fonts and layout, and it sits on your own domain. To a reader it looks like anything else you wrote and published yourself. HaloSEO does not host the blog for you and does not put a widget or a badge on the page. There is no plugin to install and no plugin to keep up to date.

What happens on Wix that does not happen elsewhere

Wix keeps the post, the theme and the domain. HaloSEO writes the post and sends it over, and after that the page belongs to your site like any other post. You can edit it in Wix, unpublish it, or delete it. Nothing else on your Wix site changes when a post is published. HaloSEO does not alter your other pages, your navigation or your settings.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

The connection can fail. If you change your Wix account, remove HaloSEO's access, or Wix has an outage, a scheduled post will not go out. When that happens the post stays in HaloSEO and is not lost. It is not published to your site until the connection works again. We do not silently retry into a broken connection, and we do not publish a partial post. You reconnect from your Wix account and the post can go out.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want HaloSEO to host your blog, or if you want a plugin inside Wix that you manage and update. It is also not right for you if you expect a ranking, a traffic number or a date. HaloSEO does not control search engines and does not promise any of those. If you need a tool that edits your whole Wix site, this is not that tool.
