Wix
Wix Integration for Wix
HaloSEO connects to your Wix site, researches keywords, writes posts, publishes them in your theme, links them up and builds backlinks. Here is how the connection works and what to expect.
How HaloSEO connects to Wix
You connect your Wix site to HaloSEO once, from your HaloSEO account. The connection uses Wix's own app permission flow, so you approve it inside Wix and you can revoke it inside Wix at any time. HaloSEO asks for permission to read your site structure and to create and update blog posts on your site. It does not ask for permission to change your theme, your store, your bookings or your payments. You keep your Wix login. HaloSEO never stores your Wix password.
What a published post looks like on your Wix site
HaloSEO publishes into your Wix blog. The post uses your site's own theme, so fonts, colours, spacing and header and footer match the rest of your pages. It appears as a normal blog post with a title, body copy, headings, images and internal links. You can open it in the Wix editor and change anything you like. If you edit a post by hand, HaloSEO leaves your edits alone unless you ask it to update that post.
What happens on Wix that does not happen elsewhere
Wix keeps its own blog and its own URL structure, and HaloSEO works within both. Posts go to the blog app you already have, so your existing categories and post feed keep working. Wix handles the page rendering and the sitemap, and HaloSEO checks that new posts appear in it. Internal links are added to posts that already live on your Wix site, not to a separate copy. If your site uses Wix multilingual, HaloSEO publishes to the language you select and does not touch the others.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
The connection can drop if you change your Wix password, remove the app in Wix, or if Wix has an outage. When that happens, HaloSEO stops publishing and flags the site in your account. Nothing is deleted. Posts already live stay live. When you reconnect, HaloSEO picks up the queue and publishes what was waiting. If a post fails to publish, for example because a required field is missing, HaloSEO reports the error and retries. It does not publish a partial post.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if your site is not on Wix, or if you want to keep every post written and approved by hand before it goes live. It is also not right for you if you need posts published to a system outside Wix, or if you expect a guaranteed ranking or a fixed timeframe. HaloSEO does not promise either.
