WordPress Integration for Google Analytics

HaloSEO connects to your WordPress site once and publishes finished posts to it. This page explains how that connection works and what it does not do.

How HaloSEO connects to your WordPress site

You connect your WordPress site to HaloSEO once. HaloSEO then publishes the finished post to that site as a normal post. The post goes out on your own domain and in your site's own theme. HaloSEO does not host the blog for you. You do not need to install or maintain a plugin. The connection does not change anything else on your WordPress site.

What the published post looks like

The post appears as a normal post in your WordPress site. It uses your theme, so it looks like the rest of your content. It sits on your domain, not on a HaloSEO domain. Your menus, your header and your footer stay as they are. Readers see your site, not ours.

What happens on your WordPress site that does not happen elsewhere

The post is published to your own WordPress install, so it lives with your other content. It is not a separate blog on another platform. You keep control of the site. You can edit, unpublish or delete the post in WordPress like any other post. HaloSEO does not lock the content to its own system.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

If the connection to your WordPress site fails, the post is not published. HaloSEO does not host the blog, so there is no fallback copy on our side. If your site is down or your login details change, publishing stops until the connection is fixed. If you change your theme, the post follows the new theme. HaloSEO does not change anything else on the site, so a broken plugin or a theme error is yours to fix, not ours.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want HaloSEO to host your blog. It is not right for you if you want a plugin to manage inside WordPress. It is not right for you if you need HaloSEO to change other parts of your WordPress site, such as design, plugins or settings. It is also not right for you if you expect a ranking, a traffic number or a date. We do not control search engines and we do not promise results.
