Google Search Console
Automatic Blog Publishing for Google Search Console
HaloSEO writes the post and publishes it to your own site on a schedule. This page covers how that works when your site is set up in Google Search Console.
How HaloSEO connects to Google Search Console
You connect your site to HaloSEO and you connect Google Search Console. HaloSEO needs read access to your Search Console property so it can see the queries your site already appears for and the pages that get impressions. It does not need write access to Search Console, and it does not change anything inside your Search Console account. The publishing itself goes through your own site, not through Search Console. Search Console is a data source for us, not a publishing channel.
What the published post looks like on your site
The post goes live on your own domain, inside your own theme. It uses your fonts, your colours, your header and your footer. The picture is already in place, the internal links are already in the body, and the title tag and meta description are already filled in. There is no separate HaloSEO page and no iframe. A reader cannot tell the post was published by a platform rather than written in your CMS.
What happens on a Search Console site that does not happen elsewhere
Search Console gives HaloSEO a record of what your site is already seen for. That changes what gets written next. If a page is getting impressions for a query but sits low, HaloSEO can write a post that covers that query properly and links to the page. If a query brings impressions but no page on your site answers it, that is a gap HaloSEO can fill. On a site with no Search Console connection, HaloSEO works from keyword research alone. With the connection, it also works from your own impression data.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
If the Search Console connection drops, publishing does not stop. HaloSEO keeps writing and publishing from keyword research until the connection is restored. If your site rejects a publish, for example because the login has expired or the CMS is down, the post is not marked as live and HaloSEO retries. If a post goes live with a problem, you can edit or delete it on your own site at any time, because it is your page on your domain. We do not promise a ranking, a position or a traffic number from any of this. We do not control search engines.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want to read and approve each post before it goes live. There is no draft queue and no approval step. The post is live when it is written. It is also not right for you if you are not willing to give a publishing platform access to your site, or if your site cannot accept posts from an outside system. If you want a tool that suggests drafts for a person to finish, HaloSEO is not that tool.
