Image Generation for Google Search Console

HaloSEO draws a picture for each post from the article's own subject, in the style you chose, and hosts it on your own storage. Here is how that works when your site is connected to Google Search Console.

How HaloSEO connects to Google Search Console

You connect your site through Google's own sign in and consent screen. HaloSEO asks for read access to your Search Console property so it can see the site and its pages. You approve the request yourself, and you can revoke it at any time from your Google account. We do not ask for your Google password, and we do not post to Search Console on your behalf.

What the published post looks like on your site

The post is published on your site, in your site's own theme. HaloSEO does not replace your templates or your styling. The picture is generated from the article's own subject, in the style you picked, and it is hosted on your own storage, so the image URL sits on your domain. The picture carries no text. It is not taken from a stock library.

What happens on a Search Console site that does not happen elsewhere

Search Console gives us a verified view of your property, so the pages we publish and the pages Google reports on are the same set. That lets HaloSEO read the site's own data rather than guess at it. Nothing about the image changes because of this connection. The picture is still drawn from the article's subject, in your chosen style, and stored on your own storage.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

If the Google connection drops, or you revoke access, HaloSEO loses its read view of Search Console. Publishing continues, and images are still generated and hosted on your storage. What stops is the Search Console side of the work until you reconnect. If your storage is unavailable, the image cannot be served from your domain, and the post goes out without it. We do not send your business name or any identifying detail to the image model at any point, so a failure there cannot leak them.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want pictures with words in them, such as titles or prices baked into the image. HaloSEO does not put text in the picture. It is also not right for you if you want a stock photo library to browse and pick from. And it is not right for you if you need images hosted somewhere other than your own storage.
