Google Search Console

Local SEO for Google Search Console

HaloSEO writes posts for the phrases people search with a place attached, then publishes them to your site. Here is how that works when your site is on Google Search Console.

How HaloSEO connects to Google Search Console

You connect your website to HaloSEO. For Google Search Console, HaloSEO asks for read access to your property so it can see the queries your site already appears for and the pages Google has indexed. The permission is read only. HaloSEO does not need write access to your Search Console property, and it does not change settings there. You approve the connection, and you can remove it at any time from your HaloSEO account.

What the published post looks like on your site

The post is published on your own site, in your own theme. It uses your header, your footer, your fonts and your colours, so a visitor sees your site and not a HaloSEO page. Where the post targets a phrase with a place attached, HaloSEO can place a map of the business on the page, built from the address you give it. The map sits inside the post like any other block. Nothing is published to a separate HaloSEO domain.

What happens on Google Search Console that does not happen elsewhere

Search Console shows you the queries your pages appear for, the pages Google has indexed, and any coverage problems it has found. That data comes from Google and is only visible there. HaloSEO reads it to see which place based phrases your site already shows up for, and uses that when it researches and writes new posts. The reporting itself stays in Search Console. HaloSEO does not replace it and does not copy its interface.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

If the Search Console connection drops, for example because the Google account owner revokes access or changes the property, HaloSEO stops reading query data. Publishing continues, but new posts are researched without that input until you reconnect. If a post fails to publish, it stays in your HaloSEO account as a draft and nothing goes live on your site. If the address you gave for the map is wrong, the map on the page will be wrong, so check it after the first post goes out.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want Google Business Profile handled. HaloSEO does not post to Google Business Profile, and it does not manage reviews or listings. It is also not right for you if you need a guaranteed position, a set traffic figure or a delivery date. HaloSEO does not control search engines and will not promise any of those. And if you want to keep writing and publishing by hand, an autonomous publishing platform is not the tool you need.
