Wix Integration for HubSpot
HaloSEO connects to your Wix site once and publishes finished posts to it. This page explains how the connection works and what it does to your site.
How HaloSEO connects to Wix
You connect your Wix site to HaloSEO once. You approve the connection from your Wix account, and that approval is the permission HaloSEO needs to publish posts to your site. HaloSEO does not ask for your Wix password. It does not need a plugin installed on the site, and there is no plugin to keep up to date. Once the connection is in place, HaloSEO publishes each finished post to your Wix site as a normal post.
What the published post looks like
The post goes onto your Wix site as a normal post. It uses the site's own theme, so it looks like the rest of your content. It sits on your own domain, not on a HaloSEO domain. Readers see a post on your site, and search engines see it on your site. HaloSEO does not host the blog for you. Your Wix site stays the place where the post lives.
What happens on Wix that does not happen elsewhere
Wix keeps control of how the post is displayed. The theme, the layout and the domain are all yours. HaloSEO writes the post and publishes it, and Wix serves it. Nothing else on your Wix site is changed. HaloSEO does not edit your other pages, your menus, your settings or your design. The only change is the new post.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
If the connection between HaloSEO and Wix stops working, publishing stops. That can happen if the permission you granted is revoked, or if your Wix account changes in a way that removes HaloSEO's access. When that happens, HaloSEO cannot publish to the site until you reconnect. Posts already published stay on your site. HaloSEO does not delete them, and it does not change them after publishing.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want HaloSEO to host your blog. It does not. It is not right for you if you want a plugin you manage and update yourself. There is no plugin. It is not right for you if you want HaloSEO to change your Wix theme, your menus or your other pages. It only publishes posts. And it is not right for you if you expect a guaranteed ranking, a position, a traffic number or a date. HaloSEO does not control search engines and does not promise any of those.
