Internal Link Builder for Wix

HaloSEO connects to your Wix site, writes and publishes posts, and builds internal links between them. Here is how the Wix side works.

How HaloSEO connects to Wix

You connect your Wix site from the HaloSEO dashboard. Wix asks you to approve the connection, and you sign in to your Wix account to do it. HaloSEO needs permission to read your site content and to create and publish blog posts. It does not need your Wix password, and you can revoke access from your Wix account at any time. Once approved, HaloSEO reads your existing posts and pages so it knows what you have already published.

What a published post looks like on Wix

HaloSEO publishes through the Wix blog, so posts use your site's own theme. Headings, body text, links and images take on the fonts, colours and spacing you have already set. The post appears in your blog feed and gets a normal Wix post URL. Nothing is rendered in a separate template or an iframe. If you change your theme later, published posts follow the change like any other post on your site.

What happens on Wix that does not happen elsewhere

Wix keeps its own blog structure, and HaloSEO works within it. Internal links are added as links inside post body content, pointing at your other Wix posts and pages. HaloSEO reads your Wix sitemap and post list to choose link targets, so it links to pages that exist on your site rather than to guessed URLs. Posts are created as Wix blog posts, which means Wix features such as categories, RSS and the blog feed keep working without extra setup.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

Connections can drop. If your Wix access is revoked, or Wix changes its API, publishing and linking stop. HaloSEO marks the connection as failed in your dashboard and stops scheduling new posts for that site. Posts already published stay live on Wix and are not touched. When you reconnect, HaloSEO re-reads your site before it resumes, so it does not link to posts you deleted in the meantime. If a single publish fails, that post is retried and the error is shown to you.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if your Wix site is a single landing page with no blog, because there is nothing to link between. It is not right for you if you want to approve every internal link by hand before it goes live. It is also not right for you if you need posts published somewhere other than the Wix blog, such as a separate CMS.
