Internal Link Builder for Shopify
HaloSEO connects to your Shopify store, writes posts, publishes them in your theme and links them to the pages you already have. Here is how the Shopify side works.
How HaloSEO connects to Shopify
You install the HaloSEO app from the Shopify App Store and approve the access request. HaloSEO asks for permission to read and write blog articles, read your products, collections and pages, and read your theme files. It does not ask for orders, customers or payment data. The connection uses Shopify's OAuth flow, so you can revoke it at any time from your Shopify admin under Apps.
What the published post looks like
HaloSEO publishes through the Shopify blog API, so the post is a normal article in your store's blog. It uses your theme's article template, your fonts, your header and footer, and your menu. There is no HaloSEO badge and no separate hosted page. Images are uploaded to your Shopify files and served from your CDN. If your theme has custom article sections, the post picks them up the same way a hand written post would.
What happens on Shopify that does not happen elsewhere
Shopify stores have a small set of indexable page types: products, collections, pages, blog articles and a few policy pages. HaloSEO maps those first, then builds internal links between them. It can link a post to a product page, a collection and an older article in one pass. It also reads your product titles and handles, so anchor text matches what the page is actually about. On Shopify the blog often sits at a subfolder such as /blogs/news, and HaloSEO writes links with the full path your store uses.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
The common failures are a revoked app permission, a theme change that removes the article template, a blog handle change, or a product that is deleted after a link was written. When a publish fails, HaloSEO retries and then flags the post in your dashboard with the Shopify error message. When a linked page disappears, the link is marked as broken on the next scan and queued for a rewrite. Nothing is published silently and nothing is left broken without a note.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for stores that want to hand write every post and keep full editorial control of each sentence. It is not right for stores on Shopify plans that block app installs, or for stores that cannot grant blog write access. It is also not right for anyone who wants a guaranteed ranking or a fixed timeframe, because we do not promise either.
