Make
Squarespace Integration for Make
HaloSEO connects to your Squarespace site once and publishes finished posts to it. This page explains how that connection works and what it does not do.
How HaloSEO connects to Make
You connect your Squarespace site to HaloSEO once. The connection needs permission to create and publish posts on that site. That is the only permission it asks for. HaloSEO does not need access to your settings, your pages, your products or your customer data. Once the connection is in place, HaloSEO sends the finished post to Squarespace and Squarespace publishes it. There is no plugin to install and no code to add to your site.
What the published post looks like on a Make site
The post goes live as a normal post on your own domain. It uses your site's own theme, so it looks like the rest of your blog. Headings, images, links and formatting follow the styles you already set. Nothing about the post is hosted by HaloSEO. It lives on your Squarespace site, under your domain, and you can edit or delete it there like any other post.
What happens on Make that does not happen elsewhere
Squarespace handles the publishing step. HaloSEO does the research, the writing, the internal links and the backlinks, then hands the finished post to Squarespace. Your site keeps its own theme and its own domain throughout. You do not move your blog to another platform and you do not run a second copy of it somewhere else. The post appears where your readers already are.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
If the connection to Squarespace is revoked or the permission is removed, publishing stops. HaloSEO cannot send new posts until you reconnect the site. If Squarespace rejects a post, for example because the connection is no longer valid, the post is not published and the failure is reported to you. Posts already published stay on your site. HaloSEO does not change anything else on your Squarespace site, so a broken connection affects publishing only.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want HaloSEO to host your blog. It does not. It is not right for you if you want a plugin you manage and update yourself. There is no plugin. It is not right for you if you need HaloSEO to change your theme, your pages or other parts of your Squarespace site. It only publishes posts. And it is not right for you if you want a promised ranking, traffic number or date. We do not control search engines and we do not promise those.
