Zapier

Automatic Blog Publishing for Zapier

HaloSEO writes the post and publishes it to your own site on a schedule. This page explains how that works when your site runs on Zapier.

How HaloSEO connects to Zapier

You connect HaloSEO to your Zapier site once, from your HaloSEO account. The connection needs permission to create and publish posts on your site, and to upload the images that go with them. That is the whole permission set. HaloSEO does not ask for access to your billing, your customer data or your other apps. If you remove the connection, publishing stops.

What the published post looks like

The post goes live in your site's own theme. It uses your fonts, your colours and your layout, the same as a post you wrote yourself. The picture is already in the post, the internal links are already placed, and the metadata is already filled in. Nothing is left for you to finish. There is no draft sitting in a queue waiting for a click.

What happens on Zapier that does not happen elsewhere

On Zapier the post is created and published in one step, so the post is live the moment it is written. There is no approval step and no draft queue, on Zapier or anywhere else. If you want to read a post before it goes live, this is not the setup for you. The schedule you set is the only control point.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

The connection can fail. Your site can be down, your login can change, or Zapier can reject a request. When that happens the post is not published and HaloSEO flags it in your account so you can see it. We do not retry silently forever and we do not publish a half finished post. You fix the connection and the post goes out on the next run.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you need to approve every post before it goes live. There is no approval step and no draft queue. It is also not right for you if you want to edit each post by hand before publishing, or if you are not ready for posts to appear on your site on a schedule without you in the loop.
