Zapier
Schema Generator for Zapier
HaloSEO builds the JSON-LD for a page and refuses to emit a type whose required fields are missing. This page covers how that works with Zapier, and what it does not do.
How HaloSEO connects to Zapier
HaloSEO does not have a Zapier app, an OAuth connection or a stored permission on your Zapier account. There is nothing to authorise and no token to grant. The schema generator is a tool you use on its own, and you paste its output into the place where your page markup lives. If you were expecting a one click install from the Zapier app directory, this is not that.
What the published post looks like on a Zapier site
The generator does not publish anything to your site. It returns a block of JSON-LD that you place in the page yourself, and the page keeps rendering in your own theme, with your own templates and your own styles. HaloSEO does not inject markup into a published post automatically yet. Whatever appears on the page is what you pasted, in the theme you already run.
What happens on Zapier that does not happen elsewhere
Nothing in the connection changes because the site runs on Zapier. The generator behaves the same way it does anywhere else. It builds the JSON-LD for the page you describe and it refuses to emit a type whose required fields are missing, so you get an error instead of invalid markup. That refusal is the same on every platform, and it is the part worth relying on.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
If a required field is missing, the generator stops and tells you which one. You do not get partial JSON-LD to paste and hope for the best. If you paste output into a template that strips script tags, the markup will not reach the page and you will need to check the rendered source. If the page content changes after you paste, the schema can fall out of step with the page, and you have to regenerate it by hand.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want schema added to published posts without touching the page. It does not do that yet. It is also not right for you if you need a Zapier integration that fires on publish, or if you expect the tool to validate markup that is already live on your site. It builds JSON-LD from the fields you give it, and you place the result.
