Zapier

Wix Integration for Zapier

HaloSEO connects to your Wix site once and publishes finished posts to it. This page explains how that connection works and what it does not do.

How HaloSEO connects to Wix

You connect your Wix site to HaloSEO once. You approve the connection from your Wix account, and that approval is the only permission HaloSEO needs. It lets HaloSEO publish a post to your site. It does not give HaloSEO access to your Wix settings, your store, your orders or your other pages. You can remove the connection from your Wix account at any time. There is no plugin to install and no code to add to your site.

What the published post looks like

HaloSEO publishes the finished post to your Wix site as a normal Wix post. It uses your site's own theme, so it matches the pages you already have. It sits on your own domain, not on a HaloSEO subdomain. Your readers stay on your site. The post appears in your Wix blog like any post you wrote yourself, and you can edit it there afterwards.

What happens on Wix that does not happen elsewhere

Wix keeps the post on your domain and in your theme, and HaloSEO does not host it for you. There is no plugin to keep up to date, because the connection is an approval, not an add on. HaloSEO does not change anything else on your Wix site. It does not touch your other pages, your menus, your design or your settings. It adds the post and stops there.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

If you remove the connection in Wix, publishing stops. Posts already on your site stay there. If your Wix plan or site settings block new posts, the publish step fails and HaloSEO reports the failure to you. If a post fails to publish, nothing is lost. The post stays in HaloSEO and you can retry it after you fix the cause. HaloSEO does not publish a partial post or a broken page.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want HaloSEO to host your blog for you. It does not. It is not right for you if you want a plugin you manage and update yourself, because there is no plugin. It is not right for you if you need HaloSEO to change other parts of your Wix site, such as your design or your other pages. It only publishes posts. If you want a tool that writes drafts for you to place by hand, this is also not that tool.
