Zapier

Competitor Tracking for Zapier

HaloSEO watches which sites rank for your subjects and what pages they have. It turns the gap into planned articles, then writes and publishes them.

How HaloSEO connects to Zapier

You connect your Zapier site to HaloSEO and give it permission to publish posts and to read your published content. That is the permission it needs. It does not ask for billing access or for control of your Zapier account settings. Once connected, HaloSEO researches your subjects, plans the articles, writes them and publishes them to your site.

What the published post looks like on a Zapier site

The post goes out in your site's own theme. Headings, body text, links and images follow the styles your Zapier site already uses, so a reader sees a normal page on your site and not a page that looks bolted on. HaloSEO links the new post to your existing pages where a link fits the subject.

What happens on Zapier that does not happen elsewhere

Zapier sites have their own publishing rules and their own page structure. HaloSEO works within those rules when it publishes, so the post lands as a page your site can serve, not as a draft you have to rebuild by hand. The competitor research runs the same way it does on any site: it reads which sites rank for your subjects and what they have pages for, and it plans the next articles from the gap.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

If the connection to your Zapier site drops, publishing stops. HaloSEO does not publish to a site it cannot reach. If a post fails to publish, it stays in the plan and is tried again on the next run. If your site changes its theme or its publishing rules, a post can come out with the wrong styling, and you will see that on the page. Fix the connection or the theme, and the next run picks up from the plan.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want a dashboard to read. HaloSEO does not produce one. The output is the next set of subjects and the posts that follow. It is also not right for you if you want a guaranteed ranking, a set position, a traffic number or a date. We do not control search engines and we do not promise any of those.
