Custom API
Backlink Builder for Custom API
HaloSEO connects to your Custom API site, publishes posts in your own theme, and links them to each other on a credit system. Here is how the connection works and what it does not do.
How HaloSEO connects to Custom API
You connect your Custom API site to HaloSEO and give it permission to publish posts and read your published content. That permission is what lets HaloSEO write a post, send it to your site, and place links between the posts it publishes. HaloSEO does not need access to your customer data, your orders or your admin settings. If you remove the connection, publishing stops.
What the published post looks like on your site
The post is published on your Custom API site in your own theme. It uses your templates, your fonts and your layout, so it reads as part of the site rather than a separate blog. HaloSEO writes the post and sends it to your site. Your theme decides how it renders. You keep control of the site and can edit or remove any post.
What happens on Custom API that does not happen elsewhere
On Custom API, HaloSEO publishes through the connection you grant, so the post lands in your own content system and inherits your theme. The linking works on a credit system. A site earns links by giving them, so your posts link out to other posts in the network and your site earns credits it can spend on links back. HaloSEO also reports your backlink profile from a third party index every week.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
If the connection drops, or your API credentials change, publishing stops until you reconnect. Posts already published stay on your site. If your theme changes, new posts follow the new theme. If the third party index is late, the weekly backlink report is late too. HaloSEO does not send outreach emails, does not contact anyone on your behalf, and does not buy links from a marketplace, so nothing breaks on those fronts because those actions do not happen.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want outreach emails sent, if you want someone to contact site owners for you, or if you want links bought from a marketplace. HaloSEO does none of those. It is also not right for you if you need a promised ranking, a set position or a fixed date. We do not control search engines and we do not promise those.
