Google Search Console
Automatic Indexing for Google Search Console
HaloSEO keeps a sitemap on your own domain up to date as posts go live. Google finds new posts from that sitemap, with no manual submission from you.
How HaloSEO connects to Google Search Console
HaloSEO does not connect to Google Search Console. There is no OAuth flow, no API key and no permission request, because we never ask for access. The link between your site and Google is the sitemap file on your own domain. HaloSEO writes and updates that file. Google reads it when it crawls. You keep full control of your Search Console account and we never see it.
What a published post looks like on your site
A published post is a normal page on your domain, rendered in your site's own theme. It uses your header, your footer, your fonts and your layout. Visitors and crawlers see the same page. There is no HaloSEO badge, no separate subdomain and no hosted landing page. The post sits in your site structure like any other page you publish yourself.
What happens on Google Search Console that does not happen elsewhere
Search Console is where Google reports what it did with your pages. You can see whether a URL is indexed, when Google last crawled it, and any coverage errors it found. Those reports come from Google, not from us. HaloSEO does not submit URLs to Search Console, does not ping Google and does not use IndexNow. Discovery happens through the sitemap and robots.txt on your domain. Everything after that is Google's process, and we do not control it.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
If the sitemap stops updating, new posts wait for Google to find them another way, which can take longer or not happen. If robots.txt blocks the sitemap or the posts, Google may not read them at all. If your site returns errors or the domain changes, the sitemap can point at the wrong place. When something breaks, we fix the sitemap and robots.txt on our side. We cannot fix a crawl error in your Search Console account, and we cannot force a recrawl.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want URLs pushed to Google the moment they publish. We do not ping Google, we do not use IndexNow and we do not submit URLs to Search Console. If instant submission is a hard requirement, HaloSEO will not meet it. It is also not right for you if you expect a guaranteed index date or a ranking. We do not control search engines and we do not promise either.
