SEO Dashboard for HubSpot
HaloSEO connects to your HubSpot site, publishes posts into your own theme, and shows you what went out, where it ranks and whether the blog is on its cadence.
How HaloSEO connects to HubSpot
You connect your HubSpot site to HaloSEO once, from the HaloSEO side. The connection uses HubSpot's own authorisation flow, so you approve it in your HubSpot account and you can revoke it there at any time. HaloSEO needs permission to read your site structure and to create and edit blog posts and pages. It does not need access to your contacts, your deals or your marketing email. If you remove the connection, publishing stops and nothing else in your portal changes.
What a published post looks like on a HubSpot site
Posts are published as normal HubSpot blog posts. They use your site's own theme, templates, fonts and styles, so a post looks like the rest of your blog rather than like something dropped in from outside. Your header, footer and navigation stay as they are. The post carries its title, body, images, internal links and meta fields. You can open it in the HubSpot editor and change anything you like, and your edits stay.
What happens on HubSpot that does not happen elsewhere
HubSpot holds the post, so everything that runs on HubSpot runs on it. That means your HubSpot forms, CTAs, campaigns and lists can pick the post up the same way they pick up any other. The post appears in your HubSpot blog listing and in your sitemap. If you use HubSpot's own analytics, the post shows up in your page views and sources alongside your other pages. HaloSEO does not replace any of that. It adds the publishing and the dashboard on top.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
If the HubSpot connection drops, publishing pauses and the dashboard shows the last state it saw. Nothing is deleted. If a post fails to publish, it is not marked as live and you will see it as not published rather than as done. If you change your theme, existing posts follow the new theme because they are normal HubSpot posts. If you edit a post in HubSpot, HaloSEO does not overwrite your edit. Reconnecting takes the same approval step as the first time.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want a place to queue, approve and schedule work before it goes out. The dashboard is a read only view of work already done. It shows what was published, where it ranks and whether the blog is on its cadence. It is not a workflow tool and there is no approval step in it. If you need to sign off each post before it goes live, this is not the setup for you.
