HubSpot
Shopify Integration for HubSpot
HaloSEO connects to a Shopify site once and publishes finished posts to it. The post goes out as a normal post, in the site's own theme, on the site's own domain.
How HaloSEO connects to Shopify
You connect your Shopify site to HaloSEO once. You approve the connection on the Shopify side, which gives HaloSEO permission to create posts on that site. That is the only permission it needs. There is no plugin to install and no file to edit. Once the connection is in place, HaloSEO can send a finished post to the site without you doing anything else.
What the published post looks like
The post is published as a normal post on your Shopify site. It uses the site's own theme, so it looks like the rest of your content. It sits on your own domain, not on a HaloSEO subdomain. Your header, your footer, your fonts and your layout all apply. Readers see a post on your site. They do not see a HaloSEO page.
What happens on Shopify that does not happen elsewhere
HaloSEO does not host the blog for you. The post lives on your Shopify site and nowhere else. There is no plugin to keep up to date, so there is no version to track and no update to run. HaloSEO does not change anything else on the Shopify site. It adds the post and leaves the rest of the store alone.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
If the connection is revoked or the permission is removed on the Shopify side, HaloSEO can no longer publish to the site. Posts already published stay where they are. New posts wait until the connection is restored. If a publish fails, HaloSEO reports the failure rather than marking the post as live. Nothing is deleted from your store by HaloSEO.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want HaloSEO to host your blog. It does not. It is not right for you if you want a plugin you manage and update yourself. There is no plugin. It is not right for you if you need HaloSEO to change other parts of your Shopify store, such as products, collections or checkout. It only publishes posts.
