Wix Integration for Make
HaloSEO connects to your Wix site once and publishes finished posts to it. The posts go out as normal Wix posts, in your theme, on your domain.
How HaloSEO connects to Wix
You connect your Wix site to HaloSEO once. You approve the connection from your Wix account, and that approval is the permission HaloSEO needs to publish posts to your site. HaloSEO does not ask for your Wix password. It does not need a plugin installed or kept up to date. Once the connection is approved, HaloSEO publishes the finished post to your site as a normal post. You can review the connection in your Wix account at any time.
What the published post looks like
The post appears on your Wix site as a normal post. It uses your site's own theme, so it matches the pages you already have. It sits on your own domain, not on a HaloSEO domain. HaloSEO does not host the blog for you. The post is part of your site, and you can edit it in Wix like any other post you wrote yourself.
What happens on Wix that does not happen elsewhere
Wix keeps the post on your domain and in your theme, and you keep full control of it in the Wix editor. There is no plugin to update and no separate blog host to manage. HaloSEO does not change anything else on your Wix site. It adds the post and leaves the rest of the site as it is.
What breaks, and what happens when it does
If the connection between HaloSEO and your Wix site stops working, publishing stops. This can happen if you remove the connection from your Wix account or change your site's permissions. When publishing stops, the post is not sent to your site. Nothing else on your Wix site is affected. You reconnect the site in HaloSEO, approve the connection again in Wix, and publishing can resume. Posts already on your site stay where they are.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want HaloSEO to host your blog. It does not. It is not right for you if you want a plugin you manage and update yourself. There is no plugin. It is not right for you if you want a tool that changes other parts of your Wix site, such as your pages, your store or your settings. HaloSEO only publishes posts. And it is not right for you if you need a promised ranking, position, traffic number or date. We do not control search engines and we do not promise any of those.
