Google Ranking Automation for Wix

HaloSEO connects to your Wix site, researches keywords, writes and publishes posts, links them up and builds backlinks. This page explains how the Wix connection works and what to expect from it.

How HaloSEO connects to Wix

You connect your Wix site from your HaloSEO account. The connection uses Wix's own app permissions, so you approve access inside Wix and you can revoke it there at any time. HaloSEO needs permission to read your site structure and to create and edit blog posts. It does not need access to your store orders, your customer list or your payment settings. You choose the blog you want posts published to, and you can disconnect the site whenever you like.

What a published post looks like on your Wix site

Posts are published as normal Wix blog posts. They use your site's own theme, fonts, colours and layout, so a reader cannot tell the post was written outside Wix. The post appears in your Wix blog feed and in your sitemap like any post you write yourself. You can open it in the Wix editor and change anything. HaloSEO does not use a separate hosted blog or an iframe, and it does not add its own branding to your pages.

What happens on Wix that does not happen elsewhere

Wix handles the blog, the routing and the sitemap, so HaloSEO works through those parts rather than around them. Internal links are added to posts that already exist on your Wix blog, which keeps the link structure inside Wix intact. When you change your theme or your site structure, new posts pick up the change because they are built on Wix's own templates. HaloSEO also reads your existing Wix pages so it does not write a post that duplicates a page you already have.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

The connection can drop if you change your Wix password, remove the app, or if Wix has an outage. When that happens, HaloSEO stops publishing and flags the site in your account. Nothing is published to the wrong place and no post goes out half finished. You reconnect from your account and the queue resumes. If a post fails to publish, it stays in the queue and you can retry it. We do not delete or overwrite posts you wrote yourself.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want to approve every word before it goes live, because HaloSEO publishes on a schedule. It is not right for you if your Wix site has no blog, because there is nowhere for the posts to go. It is not right for you if you sell a service that needs a person to write each page, such as legal or medical advice. And it is not right for you if you want a one off burst of posts rather than ongoing publishing.
