Zapier

Google Ranking Automation for Zapier

HaloSEO connects to Zapier so the posts it writes and publishes can land on a Zapier site. This page explains the connection, the permission it needs, and what happens when something breaks.

How HaloSEO connects to Zapier

You connect HaloSEO to Zapier with an API key. You create the key in your Zapier account and paste it into HaloSEO. The key carries the permission to create and update posts on the site you name. HaloSEO does not ask for your Google account, your Zapier password or access to anything outside that site. You can revoke the key in Zapier at any time, and HaloSEO loses access the moment you do.

What the published post looks like on a Zapier site

HaloSEO publishes through the Zapier API, so the post is a normal post in your site. It uses your active theme. Your fonts, your colours, your header and your footer all apply. Headings, lists, images and links follow the same styles as the rest of your content. Nothing is wrapped in a HaloSEO template and nothing carries a HaloSEO badge. A reader cannot tell the post came from us.

What happens on Zapier that does not happen elsewhere

Zapier sites run on their own content model, and HaloSEO writes to it directly rather than through a generic import. That means the post is created as a native entry with your categories and your URL structure. HaloSEO also reads the site's existing posts so internal links point at pages that are actually there. On other platforms we work with the fields that platform exposes. On Zapier we work with the fields Zapier exposes, which is a narrower set.

What breaks, and what happens when it does

The connection breaks if the API key is revoked, if the key's permissions are reduced, or if the site is moved or renamed. When a publish fails, HaloSEO records the failure and stops retrying that post. It does not publish a partial post and it does not fall back to a different method. You see the failed item in HaloSEO, fix the key or the site setting, and the post can be sent again. Ranking checks pause while the connection is down.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you need a guaranteed position on Google or a fixed date for one. HaloSEO does not touch Google, does not submit anything to Google, and makes no promise about a position or a date. It is also not right for you if you want to keep writing and publishing by hand and only want a keyword tool. HaloSEO is a publishing platform, not a writer you paste into.
